📸 Activity: Interest Safari
Objective: Strengthen curiosity and observation skills by helping your child notice what sparks their interest in the world around them.
How to Do It:
For one week, go on an “Interest Safari” together. Invite your child to take pictures (or make quick sketches) of things that make them curious — anything that makes them say “Wow!” or “I wonder why…” This could be a bug on the sidewalk, a cool sign, a funny cloud, or even something they’re building or reading.
Parent Prompt:
“What made you stop and look at that?”
“What do you think is happening here?”
“Would you like to find out more about it?”
Connection Tip:
At the end of the week, scroll through the photos together and see if there are any patterns — maybe your child loves nature, machines, colors, or words. Curiosity patterns can guide book choices and spark new learning adventures.
